    Christmas preparations…

Making gingerbread is a Christmas tradition that we do the last week before Christmas, every year. We invite my parents, and together we enjoy baking cookies before we eat dinner around a festive table. Three generations managed to bake these goodies to the cookie jar this year. The cake angels are great to hang on mugs or glasses, and they taste good together with tea, coffee and even with champagne… They are also great to use as place cards if you write names on them with decorating icing! If you don’t have an angel cake cutter, there are many of the traditional cake cutters that you can use. Just bend…

For more information, see “Ralph’s” Behind big blue doors, you will discover a romantic garden in stunning “New England Style”.   But if the weather is not at it’s best or the garden is fully booked, you wil not be disappointed eating inside …   This is one of the most beautiful and most accomplished restaurants I have experienced. I have been here in…

    Lene Bjerre

“Lene Bjerre”, Danish elegance for over 40 years. “Lene Bjerre” was one of “CamillaK”‘s first suppliers and if you have bought curtains at “CamillaK” they probably came from “Lene Bjerre”.     “Lene Bjerre” is a classic Danish designer of fabrics, ornaments and furniture. Once upon a time in Champagne…

“Champagne Château de Boursault” is a family-owned champagne house with a history and a castle that could have been taken from a fairytale. The castle was built by Madame Veuve Clicquot and she lived here for part of her life. This amazing place is a must visit during a holiday in Champagne!   We were fortunate enough to experience a Champagne Tasting with one of the owners, Alex Fringhian, when we visited this magical vineyard. With great hospitality and empathy, he told the history of the property while we tasted the noble drops. If you like, you can read their story here “Château de Boursault”   The champagne made at Château…
